Greetings! My name is Dr. AJ Wildman and I am so excited to be a new member of the Northstar & Upper Arlington family.
My interest in veterinary medicine started as a teenager and I spent many hours walking dogs and cleaning runs at Cassio Kennels in my hometown of Newtown, CT. I began assisting a local veterinarian at the facility, holding pets for vaccinations and tending to minor medical problems. She recommended me for a veterinary assistant position at The Animal Emergency Clinic of Danbury, where she worked weekends. Throughout my four years at Cornell University, I worked every graveyard shift during summer and holiday breaks. My amazing mentor, Dr. Alan Feldman, fostered my growing enthusiasm for science and for animals. He taught me to respect the power of medical knowledge and celebrate the unique relationships that exist between people and their pets.
My husband, Angel, and I met at Cornell and married in 1997 before moving to Columbus so I could attend OSU for veterinary school. We have four children – Aidan & Andrew and Alina & Alexander. In addition to our two sets of twins, we own two cats, Mona & Frankie, and a dog, Zak. We live in Upper Arlington and Angel is an architect and partner with NBBJ. When I’m not working or chasing the kids around, I enjoy swimming, shopping, dancing, watching movies and reading. My professional interests include dentistry, critical care/emergency medicine and exotic pets, especially rabbits and other small mammals.
I am honored to be working with the talented and compassionate team at Northstar Animal Care. I hope to offer you and your pets the same high quality care and personal attention you have come to expect from Dr. Parson and his staff.
